Welcome to Bajan True Stories.

My name is Carol King and I am the author of this awesome blog you are visiting today :) First of all I would like to say thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and I hope you will become a part of our story telling family. All of the stories on this blog are true encounters of mine unless otherwise stated. I know your are just dying to know a little more about me so here goes. My parents are Bajan, both from the north and I was born and raised in Birmingham England. I emigrated to Barbados in September 1998 and I can honestly say that I cannot imagine myself living anywhere else. I am a Chef by profession and I am self employed. My business is called Sassy Cookies and you can look us up on both Facebook and Instagram. 

My passion (aside from cooking) is writing and my first blog is Positive Life 24/7 and I share tips on living a healthy, productive and positive life. Feel free to check it out HERE! In my spare time I like to read motivational books and some novels. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austin, Maya Angelou, Terry Macmillan, Zane, Esther Hicks, Rhonda Byrne and Maeve Binchy.
